Well after two weeks of working on our textile inventory a few things have become obvious.
1. This is going to take a while.
In the past two weeks we have completed probably somewhere around 300 textiles. There are still MANY to go through, through. And once we are done with the textiles we will be moving on to every other object in the museum.
2. We have some really amazing looking items in our collections! Check out a few!
Aren’t these things incredible?! Well, if you are interested in learning how we are going about completing our inventory then you should stop by the Whaley House next Tuesday or Thursday between 9:30 and 3:00 and lend a helping hand! We’re always ready to welcome new and enthusiastic volunteers!
